In the process of doing my 20 page research paper/final for English (grr), I’ve stumbled upon a fantastic resource for research. No its not Google.
Several different search engines act as an easy way to search multiple search engines (meaning that when you search on them, they actually search other search engines and return data). Vivisimo does the exact same thing, except it incorporates document clustering. It takes all the returned results and sorts them by topic (it’s not perfect yet), which is very useful for research projects.
I predict that Google will come out with its own similar document clustering. It already does for news on news.google.com, but dosen’t as of yet on its search results.
