I was hesitant to go see it, but after being “forced” to see it I have to write about it. Pirates of the Caribbean is an excellent 2.5 hours of pure escapism. Great sets, fun characters, and a pretty entertaining story. And of course, Kiera Knightly adds a lot visually to the movie.
Another great movie that I saw recently was Matchstick Men. Definitely worth seeing, and the end is totally impossible to guess. Usually 1/3 of the way thru the movie I can figure out what the ending is going to be and movies where I can’t I usually end up loving. Probably one of the top 10 movies I’ve seen this year.
