The article I am discussing is bit old, but I never got around to writing about it. So why not do it now and attempt to clear head
Iraq is claming that the US is looking for an excuse to go to war. Of course it is. Why? Is it because the Bush administration is made up with a bunch of “war-hawks”. I think not. This war is important for America for money and it’s the only sufficient reason to go to war. Money. What do I think about all this talk about weapons of mass destruction and liberating Iraq from the tyranny of Hussein? I think there may be some validity to it, but mainly just another beautiful half naked girl in and advertisement type thing. Things to distract you and making you buy the real reason.
The real reason is money. How will this war make America money? Firstly, say for instance we didn’t go to war, and Hussein actually had weapons of mass destruction. What will he if not now, but shortly in the future do? Use them. After that who will be forced to rebuild whatever country is destroyed? It would unquestionably be America. No other country has the resources and capability to single handedly rebuild a country. So by going to war right now America is putting of a future heavy cost.
Another reason is American economy. This war will undoubtedly kick start American economy. Just like most other wars America involves itself with it’ll create jobs and increase confidence among people.
Finally the last is oil. If America goes to war it’ll annihilate Iraq. It’ll first bomb the shit out of Iraq and then send in men. No battle at all. But you’ll find that when they attack they’ll destroy more than they need to. Why? Money. Seems ironic that by firing more $100k bombs America will make money, but I thinks its true. America will totally destroy Iraq and then rebuild it with a US friendly government. To rebuild it it’ll give Iraq huge wartime loans similar to the way America did with Japan in the Marshall plan after WWII. The loans will be so big that there is no possible way Iraq’s new government will be able to pay them off. That’s when America will say its okay don’t pay us back in dollars pay us in oil. That’s the real motive of this war. As soon as America, by far the largest importer of oil, starts getting oil for free all the other OPEC members will be forced to reduce their oil prices which will end up saving the American economy billions and even trillions over the years. In addition of cheap oil America will have another ally in the Middle East and another reason to have more men in the Middle East to protect its interest in oil.
Money? It drives the world. Whether you accept it or not, whether you think its correct or not, its one of the thing which is at the root of human existence. We can’t live without it.
